It’s spring time again and you’re ready to start looking for a new home to buy, but you’re not sure where to begin. You want a great location and a community that offers a lot of excellent amenities. Well, Fall Creek is the place for you and here’s why!
Fall Creek is a gorgeous community that offers quiet neighborhoods, custom homes, a large wooded golf course, lake lots, green belts, and views of the golf course. Residents o Fall Creek have the opportunity to become members of the Redstone Golf Club, which happens to be one of the most prestigious clubs in Houston. In fact, since 2003, the Shell Houston Open Golf Tournament has been held at Redstone.
The community is located in a natural forest and it offers a 65-acre sports complex including 2 little league fields, two soccer fields, and a sand volleyball court. The park offers a wooded area with trails and a nature preserve on Garners Bayou. There are three stocked community lakes for local fishing and basking in the sun. There is a catch-and-release policy so that each of the lakes will remain fully stocked. Living in this community will offer you exquisite parks, greenbelts with walking trails, and beautiful lakes. You don’t have to travel far to enjoy what the great outdoors has to offer you.
The Redstone Golf Club opened in 2003 and offers a 18-hole member course, which was designed by Jim Hardy and Peter Jacobson. It’s located on 900 acres and has a host of Cypress, Live Oak, and Pine trees nestled throughout. The club offers two recreation centers and swimming pools. In addition, you can enjoy a game of tennis on the tennis courts.
The club enjoys some rich history as well. During the construction of the tournament course, a number of Atakapa Indian artifacts were found all over the grounds. The club incorporated this history into the design of its logo. An Indian Arrowhead outlines a reflection of green over water. The club is owned and operated by Redstone Golf Management under the umbrella of The Redstone Companies.
The club has received a number of awards over the years. In 2013, it was named “Golf Course of the Year” by the NGCOA. In 2012, it was named “Best Overall Course” by Avid Golfer. IN 2006, it was named “Best New Course” by Avid Golfer. In 2005, it was named “America’s Best New Courses” by Golf Digest. In 2004, it was awarded the “Excellence in Marketing” title by Golf, Inc.
